RJN's mission is to provide premier services to individuals living with traumatic brain injuries.  I began my work in this field 17 years ago as an Independent Living Skills Trainer and Positive Behavioral Intervention Specialist. Over the years, I worked at various agencies providing services to individuals throughout NYC, Long Island and Westchester.  Doing this work enabled me to fulfill my purpose and passion for helping individuals regain autonomy within their communities.  To witness participants under my care develop an improved quality of life and  greater levels of independence never failed to inspire me over and over.  I've seen significant growth and achievements, such as individuals' returning to college, holding down employment, starting businesses and mastering the ability of self-advocacy within their homes and communities.
 
Over the years, I grew a passion for starting an agency to train motivated people to provide a level of care to individuals living with a TBI that would be deliberate and impactful. That passion was realized in 2020 with the birth of RJN Services for TBI, a premier agency providing person-centered cognitive rehabilitative services and behavioral supports to individuals with a TBI. RJN’s participants receive treatment aligned with goals of reintegrating within their communities and gaining essential skills that enhance their dignity and humanity.  Our services help individuals regain a better sense of self while inspiring them to pursue goals built on their hopes and desires.  Whenever consistent with agency policy, RJN works to support the individual's preferences and interests.  RJN is proud to operate from a set of core values based on integrity, compassion, accountability, and professionalism.  Our commitment always is to provide exceptional services through creativity and flexibility to individuals and their family members.
